Forensic Technology Acquires Swiss-Photonics and Projectina

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Jan. 17, 2011) -Forensic Technology WAI, a pioneer in automated ballistics identification and analysis technology, has acquired Swiss-Photonics AG and its subsidiaries, including Projectina AG, from Safariland LLC, a subsidiary of BAE systems PLC.

Walsh, President of Forensic Technology WAI. The Heerbrugg, Switzerland-based Swiss-Photonics currently employs 36 people specialized in the design, production and support of forensic science products including optical components for inspection systems.
